Grand Final

GRAND FINAL 2021 FB event

We are so excited to announce that UK Street Dance Challenge will be hosting a GRAND FINAL in July 2021 bringing together the best dancers from all over the UK.
We know that dance teachers will have questions relating to this event, so we have put together this information pack which will hopefully answer all these questions, however, if there is something that we have not covered in this guide please feel free to contact us at info@ukstreetdancechallenge.co.uk/ or by calling our office on 0191 5438288.

The Venue

Situated in the heart of the UK, TIC’s hugely accessible location offers all the benefits of a city centre, without the hustle and bustle.

Following a £250 million investment, the purpose-built Convention Quarter was created with modern day event organisers in mind. Sitting opposite the main venue, it features a host of restaurants, bars, hotels, and leisure facilities. Telford town centre is just a short walk away, providing further opportunities for entertainment and activities.

How to qualify?

To qualify for the GRAND FINAL, dancers must have attended a qualifying event and have placed 1st – 5th in their team. All dancers who place in a team will qualify for the event and be able to compete in all events at the final, for example solo, duo, quad & team. Some events such as battles/parents & child will have restrictions applied and only a certain amount per dance school will be able to compete.

If you are an independent dancer who wishes to attend the grand final, then you must place in solo/duo to be able to compete at the final.

Transport Links

Telford is within just three hours’ commute of over 70% of the UK population. Birmingham is just 45 minutes away, Liverpool and Manchester just an hour and a half, London two and a half hours, Cardiff, three hours, and Glasgow five hours. By road the M54 links Telford and Shropshire to the M6 and the M6 Toll, avoiding the congestion of Birmingham, and we’re also served by major A roads including the A49, A41 and A5.

By Rail we have a direct rail service to London, as well as regular services from West Midland Railway, Arriva Trains and Virgin to destinations across the UK.
